Here at the museum we work with many talented artists, which this year has included young artists from across London’s primary schools.
Today we celebrated with pupils from five different schools, who sent in artwork to help us explain prehistory in the London before London gallery. Congratulations to Beecroft Garden Primary and Stanley Park Junior school, who sent us these winning entries!
We will be working with the public to see if these pictures should become a permanent feature in the gallery. This competition is part of a wider project to make the gallery easier to understand for the many schools and young family visitors who now study prehistory as part of recent changes to the National Curriculum.
