Today, around 36,000 people will take to their trainers to battle the one and only London Marathon. One of the biggest fundraising events on the planet, this brutal 26.2 mile race-course takes in some of the capital city’s most stunning sights, from the Cutty Sark to the Houses of Parliament, Buckingham Palace and Tower Bridge.
