I recently went on a very short courier trip to Paris to de-install the objects we lent to the Mécanique des Dessous exhibition at the Decorative Arts Museum (yep, you missed it, great catalogue still available, though!). I was lucky to be able to see Roman d’une Garde-Robe, an exhibition organised by the Palais Galliera at (and with) the Musée Carnavalet, the equivalent to our museum in Paris albeit with a completely different approach (another interesting story).

I never know whether I should talk about objects that are not in rude health. I guess most of you suspect that we have the odd thing that is more than a little worse for wear or for storage.
